FOCA has conditionally approved the subsidy application for XC Tracer Varios with Flarm for 2025. Pilots who purchase(d) an XC Tracer Maxx III, Maxx II or Mini V between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025, hold an SVH license, and have not yet received a subsidy, are eligible to submit a reimbursement claim through https://www.variosubvention.ch/en/ . Please ensure the application is submitted on the website no later than January 15, 2026.

Before the end of 2025, a firmware update for the Maxx III will be released, featuring integration of KK7's Thermal Hotspots on the wind display. Thermal probability is shown through varying dot sizes. The larger the black dot, the more frequently or strongly thermals occurred historically at that location during the same time of day and month. We're currently testing. Once the firmware is released, both the firmware update and hotspot data can be easily updated through the web app.
